Staying Informed
The education and formation of every Hannan student requires close collaboration between the parents and the school. In order to achieve this level of collaboration the school makes every effort to communicate with parents at every level. At the same time, it is important to maintain and project Archbishop Hannan High School's identity to the school’s other constituencies and communities: alumni, students, prospective families and the public at large. To fulfill this task the Communications Department distributes Hannan news and information through variety avenues - email newsletters, blogs, website updates, portal pages, social media and text messages.
Many Options
School masses, practice and event schedule changes, ceremonies, weather-related closings are just a few of the many day-to-day happenings at any high school. Unfortunately, students are not often the most reliable at relaying information. At Archbishop Hannan, work hard to keep you, the parent/guardian, well informed of what's happening on campus. Listed below are some of the ways you can stay up-to-date on all the Hannan news and last minute schedule changes.
- Sync your smartphone or desktop calendar with the official Hannan Calendar.
- Keep abreast of your child's grades by registering with your Powerschool account for automatic email notifications of grade changes.
- Register for a Canvas account to stay in touch with your child's courses.
