Soccer - Mens Varsity
The Archbishop Hannan Boy's Soccer team will compete in Division III, District 7 this season after experiencing one of the best season's in program history last season. The team is looking to build on the success of last season with a talented and balanced roster heading into the 2018-19 season. Archbishop Hannan soccer program focuses on team-wide discipline and hard work - while maintaining an exciting brand of soccer on the pitch. The Hawks' coaching staff focuses on developing the whole player - body, mind and technique - during high-intensity training sessions.
The goal of the Varsity Soccer program is to mentor young student athletes so that they become adults that understand the importance of commitment, hard work, loyalty, integrity and most importantly faith. My hope is to see our players grow and develop positive attitudes in all aspects of their lives.
Head Soccer Coach
This will be my second year at Archbishop Hannan High School after serving as the Assistant Coach last season under Bryan Villa.
I grew up in the area and attended St. Paul's where I was a three-year letterman while playing at the Elite level for Mandeville Soccer Club and for the Louisiana Olympic Development Team.
I hold three U.S. Soccer Coaching Licenses and currently coach at Mandeville Soccer Club.
Soccer is a fluid game that requires tremendous physical and mental ability. Players at Archbishop Hannan will be challenged to think for themselves on the soccer field and develop not only their technical ability on the field, but their tactical awareness. I am a true believer in competition. If a player is good enough to play on Varsity he will, regardless of age or grade-level.
My coaches and I will work tirelessly to elevate the Archbishop Hannan soccer program, to develop the best soccer players we can and hopefully produce future college soccer players.
