As a player - Lettered four seasons at Archbishop Hannan High School under the watchful eye of head coach Becky Lambert ... Primarily played second base for the Hawks, helping the team to the 2011 and 2012 LHSAA Softball State Championships ... Laigast was named to All-District teams all four years (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) and was a member of the All-Louisiana team in 2013 ... Also excelled in the classroom, earning Honor Roll and Mu Alpha Theta recognition ... Laigast also lettered four years in Volleyball at Archbishop Hannan ...

Softball

Overview

The Hannan softball program is a well respected program; it’s one of the best in the parish. Each year we have high expectations, our goal each season is to make it to Sulphur to compete for a state championship.

Payers will be challenged to reach their full potential, encouraged to develop emotional maturity, and they will have the opportunity to learn how to deal with success and failure.

Players are expected to have a team first attitude as well as a coachable attitude. We want self motivated and self disciplined players. We also want players to be positive role models to represent Hannan Softball and Archbishop Hannan High School.
