I grew up in the area and attended St. Paul's where I was a three-year letterman while playing at the Elite level for Mandeville Soccer Club and for the Louisiana Olympic Development Team. I hold three U.S. Soccer Coaching Licenses and currently coach at Mandeville Soccer Club.

Soccer is a fluid game that requires tremendous physical and mental ability. Players at Archbishop Hannan will be challenged to think for themselves on the soccer field and develop not only their technical ability on the field, but their tactical awareness. I am a true believer in competition. If a player is good enough to play on Varsity he will, regardless of age or grade-level.

My coaches and I work tirelessly to elevate the Archbishop Hannan soccer program, to develop the best soccer players we can and hopefully produce future college soccer players.

JV Soccer

Overview

The goal of the JV soccer program at Hannan is to focus on the development of all members of the team. Players will be encouraged to play out from the back, connect passes, be confident on the ball and play with passion.

We want to win games, but our main goal for our JV program is to develop quality players for the varsity level and improve knowledge of the game.

Coaching

Coach Kevin Delaney, who coaches at Madisonville Youth Boosters Soccer Club, is the head JV coach at Archbishop Hannan High School. Coach Labat and coach Liz Manuel, a Mandeville Soccer Club coach, serve as assistants when needed.
