Academics
The Archbishop Hannan experience is about excellence – at every level.
At Archbishop Hannan High School, we prepare students for college and to be Christ-centered citizens of the world. A Hannan education is rigorous and comprehensive, designed to promote each student's spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth in a supportive environment. Our classes are designed to provide learning opportunities in which students develop critical thinking skills, take intellectual risks, work in collaborative settings, and learn to effectively communicate their ideas.
The goal of our academic program is to prepare our students to not only gain acceptance into the top colleges in the nation, but to thrive and succeed once they're there.
Critical thinking. Logic. Creativity. Communication. Work ethic. Those are the qualities our faculty emphasize through coursework, class interaction and co-curricular activities. And we believe a disciplined atmosphere fosters both personal freedom and responsibility for one's decisions. As a result, Archbishop Hannan is recognized and respected for our commitment to academic excellence, building character, and preparing students for the demands of college.
